Q: Can't Login after registration?

A: You need to activate your account first by clicking the activation link sent to your registered email?


Q: Forgot my password/username?

A: You may reset your password or request your username by clicking on the "Forgot your password?" or "Forgot your username?" respectively on the Login form?


Q: How to submit a new proposal?

A: Please login using your account and follow the steps below:

1. Click on the Dashboard menu right next to Home menu located at the topmost of the page
2. From your Dashboard, click Submit a new proposal.
3. From the initial submission step, select Research Grant Type
4. Continue by following the steps in the Manual (can be downloaded under the Help menu).

Q: Can't find the Implementing Agency from the list/drop-down list?

A: Please type and select 'Other Agency' and specify the complete name of the agency (sample format: Mother Agency/University - College - Department - Section/Unit).


Q: Copy-pasted text is a mess? How to fix it? Can't copy text from an MS Office file? How to obtain the plain text version?

A: You may copy texts from an MS Office file but you need to remove all the hidden copied formats. You can do so by:

1. Selecting all the pasted text (or Ctrl+A for Windows when your cursor are on the editor)
2. Click on the Format menu found at the top of the editor (where you pasted the text)
3. Select and click on the Clear Formatting menu
4. Additionally, you may format the pasted text using the editor formatting tools (ex. Indentation, Italicization and etc)

Alternatively, you can obtain a plain text version of the copied text from an MS Office file by pasting first the copied text in a plain text editor like Notepad, then copy the plain text version from the Notepad instead.

Q: How to resubmit a returned incomplete proposal (in-house screening stage)?

"DO NOT create and submit a new proposal using the conventional steps as this will be treated as a new proposal and it will be processed again by our Records Officer"

A: Please start from your Dashboard and follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Returned/Active submissions and locate your proposal
  2. Click on the Action button at the rightmost column
  3. Submission page will be displayed as well as the Action form located below the page
  4. From the Submission page, upload all the missing documents/requirements at the Files tab, you may check both the Project file and Supplementary file to properly categorized the file being uploaded
  5. Then finally, after uploading the requested document(s), re-submit your proposal by selecting the appropriate action from the Action form located at the Action tab

  1. Click on the For Revision/Active submissions and locate your proposal
  2. Click on the Action button at the rightmost column
  3. Submission page will be displayed as well as the Action form located below the page
  4. From the Submission page, upload the revised proposal and all the requested documents/requirements at the Files tab, you may check both the Project file and Supplementary file to properly categorized the file being uploaded
  5. Then finally, after uploading the requested document(s), re-submit your proposal by selecting the appropriate action from the Action form located at the Action tab

Q: What's the meaning or stage of my proposal based on its current status?

A: You may view all the workflow transitions, to have an overview on the current status or stage of your proposal, by clicking on the Actions and Workflow Guide menu from your Dashboard.


Q: How to request for Project Officer Reassignment of Project?

A. All future reassignment requests should be done using the steps below.
 
   I. If the requesting PO is currently the assigned to the project:
  1. Open the project, Submission Details page will be displayed.
  2. From the Submission Details page, locate the Request Reassignment button located at the Other Details tab. Reassignment form will be displayed.
  3. From the Reassignment form, update the Project Officer fields by selecting the recipient PO.
  4. Finally, click on the Save button. Request will be sent to Division Chief and will be pending for approval.
   II. If the requesting PO is currently NOT the assigned to the project:
  1. Use Advanced Search option from your Dashboard to search for the proposal/project (a unique identifying word or two-three words is the ideal search key). Click Search button from the bottom of the page. Search results will be displayed. If no search result, you may refine your search key or may be the proposal is not yet inputted into the system.
  2. From the Advanced Search result, locate the project being reassigned. Click on the ID/Title, limited Basic Details page will be displayed.
  3. From the Basic Details page, click on the Request Reassignment button. Reassignment form will be displayed.
  4. Continue from Step 3 of "I. If the requesting PO is currently the assigned to the project".
